I loved that fish. I seem to remember that the gold acrylic I used was made from real gold, but that sounds ridiculous so I'm probably befuddled. The fish does glimmer as light moves across it anyway, unless I'm befuddling that too.

This got re-worked in 2012 when I removed the terrible old frame I had nailed to it years ago and found it to be discoloured underneath. I ended up repainting the background and much prefer the new version.
